How can I make my own spy tools and gadgets? I would like to make alarms and maybe homemade weapons and stuff like that. How would I go about doing that?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I made a little alarm to catch my teenage daughter if she tried to sneak out of the house. She kept sneaking out even though I told her not to. Last time the police had to bring her back. I was not happy being woke up at 2:00 AM in the morning to the police at my door with my drunk daughter. She would sneak out her bedroom window.

We live in a single story home and her bedroom is right next to ours, but to the front of the house so we can't hear her when she sneaks out.

I took some clear fishing line and tied one end to her window screen up at the top and then ran the line along the aluminum siding back to my bedroom window and into my bedroom. On my end I attached a couple of large bells that jingle when moved.

The next time my daughter popped out the screen from her window, it pulled the fishing line and set the bells in my room off. I then ran to the front door and told her friends that were waiting in a car to drive off right now else I was calling the police. She came around the corner of the house and was shocked.
