Federal Criminal Records Check

30 November 2008 No Comment

A Colorado Bureau of Investigations criminal records check reveals an arrest for DWAI. Would an FBI criminal background check reveal this as well? How about a records check from another state?

The FBI maintains "NCIC" the National Crime Information Center system.

Every law enforcement agency within the USA is required to upload arrest statistics to the FBI database.

Because the system is operated by the FBI...all states and law enforcement agencies have access to "criminal histories."
