Where Do I Run Background Checks?

19 November 2008 One Comment

I am employed at a small business. We have never done background checks before. My company has grown large enough that the boss wants to run a background check before hiring anyone new. I have been asked to pull these reports, but I don't know where to go. Can you help?

I do this for the company I work for as well. You can hire it out and it will cost you about $175 per person. Look in your local Yellow Pages for a Private Investigations business in your town. All of them provide this service. This is the safest option because these background check companies know the law concerning what they can and can not give you. If your boss is a cheap skate like mine and wants you to do it, you can do it for much less by going to http://www.detectiveu.com/criminalbackgroundcheck/

Spend sometime searching online. The URL above is good. There are lots of websites that do what you need. Your business can set up an account and it only takes a few minutes to complete.
